    George & Reba

With opening weekend now under their belts, Reba McEntireand George Strait started things off right for their joint tour. Those fans who joined in on the fun for the tour's debut received a special treat as opening act Lee Ann Womack faced off with Reba for McEntire's 1993 hit, "Does He Love You." Comedian and fellow Reba sitcom co-star Melissa Peterman also appeared onstage with the superstar for a rendition of the TV series' theme song, "I'm A Survivor." Meanwhile, McEntire and Strait have already made history before even playing their upcoming show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For the first time ever, over 18 thousand tickets were sold to the February 20 concert at the Bank of Oklahoma Center in less than an hour. Although this is Reba and George's first headlining tour together, it's not the only time the pair has shared the stage – the two opened for Conway Twitty in the early 80's. McEntire recalls that things didn't always go as planned especially in one instance. She explains, "One weekend of the tour, I had flown into the city we were playing instead of riding the bus with the band and crew. I got a call from my tour manager and he said the bus had broken down and they were renting a school bus to get to the show." Then, Reba made what she thought was a simple request. She says, "I asked them to be sure and get me an outfit out of my stateroom so I'd have something to wear at the concert that night." When the group finally made it to the show, they had everything but the requested clothes. McEntire exclaims, "I had to wear the same clothes I had flown in all day!" With a broken bus and only one outfit, you would think Reba would be a little bummed out about her bad luck, but Strait was there to cheer her up. She shares, "George invited me to ride on his bus the next day
