• Yallwire is excited to bring you the PREMIERE of country newcomer Jason Sturgeon's music video for his single "The Cover" - don't miss it!

Jason headed back to his hometown of Petersburg, Indiana to shoot the video for his single "The Cover," which shows him flipping through the pages of his Bible that are bookmarked with photos of events in his life that have shaped him into the man he has become. Like the worn and torn cover of his old Bible, Jason knows that it's not what you see on the outside that reflect the "pages" that make up the book.

The country singer claims the idea of the song came from his thoughts on how techonology and social media these day bring about a new way of "being judged." "With all the social media and all of these things going on, people can look at one thing - a Myspace page or a Facebook page - and get an instant idea of who they think you are," Jason says.

A personally special video for Sturgeon, the farmboy was thrilled to be able to take the shoot to his family's farm in Southern Indiana. Regarding the meaning of the song and video, Jason says, "I was thinking about growing up and how things have shaped me, and so we incorporated some of those things that have into the video. One being motorcycles; second being my horse. Shooting on the family farm is another."
