• Grammy-nominated Chris Young's new album, NEON, hits stores this week and the album is already garnering great reviews!

Yallwire host Stephanie Langston got a chance to sit down with country boy Chris Young before his performance and the Grand Ole Opry to talk about the new album, his most recent music video and his dancing skills.

The country star - who had just celebrated his 26th birthday - tells us about his "steamy" video for his fastest rising single, "Tomorrow." Regarding the song, Chris shares that "It just shows a different side of me and I think this song did, too. I mean, this song is kind of unlike anything I've put out - in a way that it [is] kind of like a country power ballad..and I think the video just went with the song."

Excited to release NEON after three years in the making, Chris shares that he "put his heart into this album." A blend of traditional and party songs, he clais "I love doing up-temp party stuff -I've got some of that stuff on the album. I've got a song called "Save Water, Drink A Beer" that is specifically going to work perfectly on the Jason Aldean tour, and then we also have stuff like "Neon" - there's a twin fiddle on that song - you can't get more country than that."

Tonight, Young heads south to join Jason Aldean's sold-out My Kinda Party tour with Stops in Orange Beach, AL, Tampa, FL, and West Palm Beach with additional dates booked throughout the rest of the year.
